Owakidani in Hakone is one place you may want to visit when you travel to Japan.
It's up in the mountain area and when you get there, you can see steam coming out from various places of the mountain.
You can also smell the sulfur (which doesn't smell good, but you'll get used to it while you're there).
And when you climb up the hill there's a cottage where you can buy boiled egg boiled using the hot spring.
